frequently asked questions

How long are you with us on our wedding day?

can i pick the music?

how long does it take for you to edit the film?

do you work well with photographers?

what if there is something i do not like in my video?

With all the video packages I offer, I am full coverage. This means I am with you when you need me prior to your ceremony and until right after the reception's ceremonial events. From getting ready, to first looks, the "I Do's", to the pictures in between, and the bouquet and garter toss. I am there with you throughout the entire day.

For music, I must have the license, or rights, to use it in your wedding video. So you will not be able to choose your music. But, I do work with both of you to figure out your style and what you like. If you have suggestions for music, that you've seen in other videos or heard from a music licensing site, I am definitely open to using it in your video. I use licensing sites, such as www.soundstripe.com or www.musicbed.com to pick my music.

To make sure I deliver you the best work, I can take up to 3 months to edit your wedding film.

Absolutely! Once I learn who your photographer is, I will email them or call them introducing myself and letting them know about my style of videography. The day of the wedding, it’s about working as a team to ensure we both get the shot we want. One of my favorite things about weddings is meeting other creatives like myself and I’ve met so many amazing photographers that I work well with. If you need a recommendation on a photographer click here.

About a month prior to the wedding, I will meet with you to go over all of the details. I provide a wedding planning sheet at signing and we will go over it all to make sure nothing is missed. This is your opportunity to let me know what is important to you so I don't have anything in the video that you don't like or miss something. That being said, if there are things that you want changed (ie: song choice, additional footage, etc.), I would be happy to work with you and accommodate as much as possible. There will be an additional charge of $50 an hour to apply any edits.

do you stage anything?

what is my wedding film delivered on?

do you travel for weddings?

do you have a drone? can you use it for our wedding?

we want you to film our wedding! how do we book?

My style of videography is candid and getting shots of the day as they happen. I do not like to stage anything, if I don't have to. Because there is only one of me, sometimes getting everything is hard to do. So if I have to stage anything, like the groom and groomsmen getting ready, I will definitely do it in a way that looks natural on camera.

I deliver all of my films online via Vimeo and on a USB drive. The USBs are personalized with your names and delivered in a cute, keepsake case.

Yes! We love to travel! I am currently based in St. Louis, Missouri but would love to travel to you to film your special day. Just let me know where your wedding will be and I will come up with an estimate for the travel fees.

We do have a drone! Drone footage is included with every wedding film as long as the area is in a legal fly zone and dependent on weather. Though, we will try our best to fly the drone on your wedding day.

Yay! I cannot wait to work with you! To book, all I need is a signed contract from you and to lock in your date, the deposit will be 50% of your total cost. The additional 50% will be due a month before your wedding. And it’s super easy to sign, everything is done online.
