If you listen to Maggie and Blake's speeches from their reception, you'll know how absolutely perfect they are for each other. Maggie's sister explains that she knew Blake was right for Maggie when he bought her a pack of Natty Light and a bag of Doritos for her birthday. Blake's brother said that the two were meant to be when Blake and Maggie bought a cat together – and Blake does not like cats.
On their wedding day, held at the gorgeous St. Maurice Church and reception held at Oak Terrace Resort, Maggie and Blake could not keep their eyes off each other. Even if it may have been hot and humid, with the A/C going out in the church, they did not let that ruin their day. Especially when the two were reciting their vows to one another. You could just tell that they meant every word spoken. After their ceremony, the two danced the night away with their family and friends. Their reception was filled with so many of their closest loved ones and I don’t think the dance floor was ever bare.
“Looking back, I am so glad God has led us to you and this day, our wedding day.”
After 7 years together, and meeting in a pizza shop, Katy and Tyler wed at the gorgeous Kempker’s Back 40 in Jefferson City. The two shared their day with all of their family and friends and included so many personal touches throughout the venue space. I absolutely loved their letters to one another, which they read for us before, and then during their first look. And what a first look it was! With the wildflowers all around them, it was absolutely magical.
We love city weddings! St. Louis provides so many beautiful backdrops for our couples and Mary and Steven’s winter wedding was no exception. Held at the beautiful Old Cathedral, their wedding had such a classic touch. Mary and Steven decided have their first look at the very top of the Hilton and the view was breathtaking! When Steven got to see Mary for the first time, I honestly don’t think anyone there wasn’t crying. The whole day, the two were all smiles and, Mary’s laugh was absolutely contagious. Their evening ended at the Hilton and my favorite moment had to be their first dance. I’ve never seen two people look more in love.
When all you have to do is press record on your camera and your couple does the rest, it makes for such a great wedding day! And that’s what Caitlin and Tyler did. As soon as we started rolling, they were smiling and laughing – just being themselves like were weren’t even there!
Described as “such weirdos” from Caitlin’s sister – the two met while in school. Tyler’s best friend thought that Tyler was making it up that he was talking to someone but when he started bringing Caitlin around, she fit right in to Tyler’s friend group. Their wedding day was held at the Vineyard at Riverbend Chapel. And while it did rain, the two made the most of it, especially with their first look, which was held under the vines with such a beautiful view of the Missouri River.
Jacob will tell you that he met Carly in music class. She will say, they met before that when Carly had to go to the athletic department for an injury. No matter how they met officially, the two have been absolutely in love since. Carly said she knew she had fallen in love when she and Jacob were on vacation together and on the beach. It was a "perfect movie moment".
Their wedding followed suit! Held at Redemption Ranch in Moscow Mills, MO, Carly and Jacob had a picture perfect rustic wedding. Held in a beautiful white barn, the two shared emotional vows that had everyone tearing up. Their night was full of laughter, dancing, and ended with a Taco Bell late night snack. Their wedding was a day to remember!
“I’m excited to be on this journey with you!”
Held at the gorgeous Crown Valley Winery, Michaela and Steve’s wedding was picture perfect. Even though there was a quick downpour right before their outdoor wedding, it let up right before Michaela walked down the aisle. It couldn’t have played out any better. The two recited traditional vows, but with a little of their own customization. Their vows described their relationship perfectly, to not only be each other’s life partners but best friends – and to be excited to share their journey with each other.
Kayla and David had a beautiful wedding in Augusta, Missouri at the most adorable Femme Osage Church. Told through their speeches, Kayla and David's story started after Kayla saw a picture of David online. She showed her sister saying, "Look at his muscles!" The two met a year after David's mother passed away and Kayla helped David through the tough time. David's sister says that her mother would have loved Kayla so much.
Their day was filled with so much love and there was never a moment where Kayla and David weren't together laughing or kissing or just being themselves.
Taylor and Jacob's wedding day may have started with a big storm but that did not stop the two from having a spectacular wedding. The two actually met in college and, their vows say it best -- "I promise to love you every day for the rest of my life." Taylor and Jacob's wedding was held at the gorgeous Hermann Hill. There were so many amazing moments too. From their adorable first look where Jacob asked if it was okay to kiss to their romantic sunset photo session on top of the bluff. How beautiful!
The two danced the night away with their family and friends and, honestly, I don't think the dance floor was ever empty. It was truly amazing to see everyone just having a good time and celebrating the marriage of Taylor and Jacob.
