I’m back and ready to blog! How have you all been doing? Things have been really crazy here at Tori Danielle Weddings. While we don’t have any weddings for the month of July, we have been editing fiends! And because of that, I am behind on my blogging game.

But without further adew — adoo? — ohh, ado — Carly and Jacob’s wedding film! Their wedding was held on April 28th in Moscow Mills, Missouri at a new venue called Redemption Ranch.

I met the two last year after filming their friend’s wedding. After a quick chat and a cup of coffee at Bread Co (or Panera for everyone outside of St. Louis), I knew we both were the perfect match! Later that year, I got to film their love story — actually the first one that I filmed. It was a warm August evening and, to be honest, I was so nervous. What if this idea was a flop? But as I interviewed both of them, learning about how they met to how Jacob popped the question, I realized how great of an idea a love story was! I felt like I really got to know them, outside of a coffee meeting or on their wedding day. And it really helped me tell their story even more.

Carly and Jacob’s day could not have gone any better! The weather was gorgeous and the venue, although still under construction, looked stunning. We started the day with Carly as she and her girls got ready. My absolute favorite detail throughout the entire day were the gorgeous flowers Carly had in her hair. With a touch a light purple, green, and cream — the colors of all of their florals could not have been more perfect for their Spring wedding.

At Redemption Ranch, after a cheers with Jacob and his groomsmen, it was time for the letters. Carly and Jacob opted not to do a first look but to hold hands at a door and read letters from each other. It was such a neat touch!

After an emotional first look with Carly and her dad, it was about time for the ceremony to begin. Now, guys, if you haven’t seen Redemption Ranch in person — do so! It was beautiful. The ceremony and reception were both held inside the barn that was all white. Which really made all of their florals and decor pop!

With probably one of the BEST first kisses I’ve ever seen it was off for pictures. Now, I typically don’t get on a party bus but since the reception would be at the same space, I decided to tag a long. I am so glad I did! It was one big dance party and all of Carly and Jacob’s bridal party were so much fun.

The night ended on a high note. With lots of dancing, laughs, and sing-alongs, Carly and Jacob’s reception was just an overall good time! We stayed till the very end because the two wanted pictures at Taco Bell. And, waiting the extra few hours did not disappoint. I mean, who gets to make a late night Taco Bell run on their wedding day? I couldn’t miss this!

Through booking Carly and Jacob to filming their love story to their wedding, I could not have asked for better clients. Not only were they absolutely amazing to work with for both films but they treated us like friends. I am so thankful!

Congratulations Carly and Jacob!

What exact words to explain this wedding? It is romantic and inviting. It is full of love and emotions. That’s why I am always amazed by how photographers and videographers work with their lenses. They are really good at capturing every moment at a wedding. Great job to your team!
