“This city is special to Maddy and Tony because it’s where they went to school. It’s a place that led them to find each other.”

When I initially got the inquiry from Maddy and Tony to film their wedding, I was like…on a Tuesday?! But then, looking at the date, I got it! 2/22/22 — a date that held a lot of significance to the two of them. That’s what I loved the most about capturing their wedding. They made sure it was about them and their story. The two had met at college in St. Louis and it’s also where they met a lot of their friends. So they decided to have their wedding in the city that brought them together.

And, honestly, the city is such a beautiful place to film in! Especially at Barnett on Washington. When we brought them out for photos, the overcast sky was perfect (even if it was a smidge chilly that day) and we found some great places to capture them. Even, at night, when we just got photos and video of the two — the lighting from the bistro lights and fire-pit there was just beautiful!

We are so happy that Maddy and Tony’s wedding day kicked off our 2022 wedding season!
